How the price is calculated, step by step.
No secret formulas. This is exactly what the calculator does with your model.
- 01
Volume and surface
From the triangle mesh we compute the model’s volume and its outer surface area.
- 02
Mass
The shell (walls, top, bottom) prints solid and the inside at your chosen infill. Volume times material density gives mass.
- 03
Material + machine
Mass × price per gram (10–16 RSD/g) + 20% for machine time.
- 04
Quantity and timing
Discount from 5, 20 and 50 pieces (−5/−10/−15%). Express +30%, at least 300 RSD.
Example
38 g × 11 RSD/g (PETG) = 418 RSD
+ 20% machine time = 502 RSD
| Part | Material | Mass | Qty | Discount | Total |

| Gear m1.5, z=32 | PETG | 22 g | 1 | — | 290 RSD |
| Electronics enclosure | PETG | 124 g | 1 | — | 1,637 RSD |

Design tips
Five rules for a part that prints well.
≥ 1,2 mm
Wall thickness
Thinner walls are fragile or won’t print. Plan 2–3 mm for brackets.
≤ 45°
Overhangs
Steeper overhangs need supports that leave marks. A chamfer instead of a flat ceiling saves material.
+0,2 mm
Fit clearance
Parts that fit into each other need 0.2–0.3 mm clearance per side.
Ø ≥ 2 mm
Holes and pins
Small holes print slightly undersized — for exact fits we ream them afterwards.
mm
Units
Export in millimetres. 3MF keeps colours and units too — the best choice.
